The journey from 1996 to 2026.
Traditional Mining with Chisel & Hammer
In 1996, the journey began in the sandstone quarries of Chhoti Khatu. Before heavy machinery, skilled workers manually split raw sandstone blocks using only chisels and hammers (छैनी और हथौड़ा). This era of pure manual extraction taught us to respect the natural grain, density, and authentic quality of every stone we mined.

Introduction of Tractors for Slabs (Pattar Patti)
By 2006, logistics took a significant leap forward. Jodhana Stone Mines introduced rugged tractors to move large, heavy sandstone slabs (पत्थर और पट्टी) directly from the mine beds. This transition from slow manual carting greatly accelerated dispatch speeds and allowed us to serve larger construction projects.

Controlled Blasting for High-Volume Extraction
As India's infrastructure and construction sector boomed, the demand for premium sandstone reached new heights. To keep pace, we adopted controlled blasting techniques to break open massive beds of rock. This industrial mining phase enabled Jodhana to scale production capacity and supply high volumes nationwide.

Pioneering Silent Chemical Splitting
In search of perfect block integrity, we transitioned away from heavy blasting to prevent micro-fractures. We introduced non-explosive chemical expanding agents (केमिकल से कटाई). By drilling neat holes and filling them with expansive slurry, massive sandstone blocks split silently and cleanly, preserving their flawless structural strength.
